Guest guest
I think you need to do what your surgeon suggests. God willing everything will be okay. If you wait you could lose not only the baby but your life too. Guest guest
, I have a friend that had an obstructed bowel and she went in for surgery to fix it. She was in and out in no time. She also recovered well from it too. My prayers are with you and your baby. I would be very scared to have any kind of surgery being pregnant too, so don't feel bad. Keep us posted. ;-) D. Guest guest
, Please do what your doctor says. An obstructed bowel is deadly. I just went through the same thing, but without a hernia. I had to go into emergency surgery. I was 36 weeks and one day pregnant. They ended up doing an emergency c-section as well, and the baby is fine. But if I decided not to do it? I wouldn't be around right now to be having this conversation with you... You are in my prayers, you and the baby. Be safe. in MA 323/155/177 post partum Caleb 11/27/00 8/27/04 Coe, Baystate Medical Center
