15 Week Appointment Update

September 21, 2004

I am SOOOOO Disappointed. I went to my appointment today expecting to hear

a heartbeat. Afterall, I've heard it on my doppler for weeks, but this was

official - Right?

The Dr. didn't even take 2 seconds to find it. She said, well....often

times its hard to find this early. We'll try again next month! PARDON

ME?????? LOL

So...she did take me in for a quick ultrasound to make sure baby was moving.

That was really cool to see, but lasted all of about 4 seconds. She did

print a blob of a pictures. My comment to her was, sure glad my husband

didn't take a day off of work for this!

I sure hope she doesn't turn out to be my delivery dr. Sheeeezzzz. Talk

about lack of showmanship!

Anyway, I'm disappointed to say the least. I'm so excited that I have my

next appt Oct 7th with my mom in ville. I'm looking forward to that.

Maybe being a cash patient you get the royal treatment! I'll keep my

fingers crossed.

On a better note, blood pressure is good, haven't gained any weight, and

baby is moving just fine.

Guess I have to get back to work now.

Ohhhh - and just before my appointment, I put my doppler in the mail to be

returned. I figured from this point on I'd have my recording and not be so

worried. STUPID ME!!!
