Guest guest
Hi to all! I was a successful VBAC after WLS. My doc's actually preferred a vaginal birth after because of concerns over internal scars from WLS. Jo Ann
Guest guest
My firstborn (10 years ago in 4 days) was born weighing 8# 11oz and I ended up having a c-section. Second baby, POST WLS, weighed 2# 3 oz less, and I *probably* could have pushed him out vaginally, but I thought about it for, oh maybe 2 seconds, and decided for another repeat c-section. I would prefer to schedule a date, have controlled conditions, have the surgery, get him out safely, and not push and have all of that to deal with. ALthough rare, having seen a uterine rupture from a prev c-section on a VBAC, isn't a pretty site and is very, very scary. Most do fine, but I wouldn't have wanted to be the one whose uterus ruptured (with my luck, it would have been me!) JMOPO!
