Should I take a home test?

Unless you own stock in the pregnancy test company, I would wait until you

are at least a week late. Your body has to have time to produce HCG, pregnancy

hormone. I know theysay they are so sensitive they can tell the first day of

the missed period, but you are just coming off birthcontrol and don't even

know if you are on a regular schedule. Good luck!

This is probably being too anxious and presumptuous, but what do you

think? This past month has been my first month off the pill. Hubby

and I " tried for a baby " during my " fertile time " , if I timed it

correctly. Last couple days, I've been sick to my stomach and had

really terrible gas pains and a little nauseau. COuldn't keep dinner

down last night. If my periods are going to be the same as they were

when I'm on the pill, I should start today. No sign yet of a period,

but should I assume this is a stomach bug or something like that and

that maybe my period isn't coming because my body's adjusting to not

taking the pill? Or should I take a home test to see if I'm

pregnant? Any advice? Anyone with similar experiences?

Thanks! What's a BFP? I'm very impatient too, but I fear I may be

too optimistic.
