Birth experiences for those who had preecclampsia

Hi all,

Just wondering what options were given to you if you had

preeclampsia and needed to deliver. Sheila, if you see this, does

your hospital have a " policy " on this?

When I see my Dr Tues, I need to get the scoop on what they plan for

me. I know I have been told they try induction before section, but I

am wondering how they will manage my bp during the course of

labor/delivery since it is already sky high...I am thinking they may

insist on an epidural at the least? And I know they would do a

section in the face of any distress of my baby. I am not sure if

they would use IV BP meds or what...

Any thoughts or experience with these issues on the board?

Gosh, for an RN, I am sorely uninformed in this area...
