Dear group,We have been treating my son, now 6, with biomed for 4+ years after he was diagnosed with moderate ASD at 2. He has been a great biomed responder - slow but a responder - with diet + supplements + MB12 shots for a time or 2 + therapies + low dose prozac for a short time, +++++ and now we are on our 3rd month of valtrex, 2x a day. Overall, my son has huge lags in communication skills (talks like a 3 yr old at best) and inability to socialize with peers for his age (anxiety plus general lack of understanding of how to approach play and what to do and his poor language makes him stand out).As far as his "autism" health, - always healthy - as in no typical kid health issues (we have probably been to the peds 6 times ever - hyper active immune system???)- always happy - no behavior issues or

meltdowns - he's not in any pain- we fight yeast frequently but more systemic - not gut as much- at times we have fought clostridia- he flaps hands when he's excited - he has anxiety about certain situations- he has mild OCD- he is an "awkward" kid and it stands out to other children (sad)My approach to biomed is test and then try things that treat the core - not the symptom.HOWEVER! Lately, the biggest symptom that is holding him back besides language is lack of focus, lack of interest in other activities (won't pay attention to our directions if he's not interested) and (doesn't care to learn to play or arts and crafts or play that game that they are playing). I see kids his age who are typically so interested in how that works or how this toy can make that happen and my kid is so independent and so on his own - it's almost like a control thing too...I'm hoping to hear from others who may be able

to relate and am interested in what if anything can be done to open his world more and bring his attention and curiosity out??Thank you so much for taking the time,Ellie

things that worked for us was DMG and folic acid together with some mag. EFA's, LDN all would help with lang, play and focus (calming in our house) the LDN and DMG would also help with the yeast and clostrida issues as well. for DMG brands do matter, food science of vermont original sublingles have the best tract record and absorb quick and easy. LDN is a cream you can put on at night and super cheap!

Thank you so much! I will research both.

If others have suggestions for OCD, lack of focus, poor attention... I would really appreicate it.

In good health,

Ellie
