Guest guest Posted October 5, 2004 Report Share Posted October 5, 2004 , My Dr encouraged increased protein before anything else, getting in all of my water, and that we only needed an extra 350 calories a day during preg. He sais we weren't " really eating for 2 " by being pg. lol He said a simple PB sandwich and glass of milk would supply the extra calories needed each day. Calorie intake I am around 9 weeks pregnant and am seeing my obgyn in a few weeks but was curious what they reccomend for a calorie intake being post op and where absorbtion is an issue?
