Guest guest
Good luck with finding out the sex, we tried 2 weeks ago and the way the baby was laying there was no way to tell. I hope your baby is more cooperative. Guest guest
I hope the chances are extreemly slim. Because I'm in my 5th month. But I don't know what they are exactly. I can't wait to find out what you are having! Be sure to let us all know! Sandy -- gender and miscarrying Hey all I hope you're all feeling great! I get to find out the gender of my little one tomorrow. We're all looking forward to it. I have a strong feeling it'll be a girl, but then again I had the same feeling when I was pregnant w/my son =) By the way do any of you know what the chances are of miscarrying once you get into the 5th month? Have any of you ever miscarried that far along? I've lost a total of 12 lbs in a little under a month till now ive been maintaining but now im losing and it made me a little nervous. Looking forward to your advice. Children are a blessing, and a gift from the Lord. -Psalm 127:

If you lost 12 lbs in a month be sure to have your doctor check for proteins in your urine. I went back into ketosis in my first trimester and they are less worried about losing some lbs but they get very concerned about the ketones and how they can affect the baby. They upped my intake and had me lessen the protein and up the carbs so I'd stop losing weight and get ut of ketosis and I have to use the ketone urine strips at home 2 or 3 times a week to make sure I stay out of ketosis. I don't mean to scare you but if you are back in ketosis you may have to change your food plan. I still haven't gained back much at all, not the pound a week Doc wants me to put on from now on but I sure am trying! I worry about miscarrying too. I just got off of bedrest from bleeding I had back in weeks 12 and 14 and 20-ish but the bedrest seems to have given me time to heal so I am allowed to leave the house so long as I take it easy. REAL easy! I am 6 months along now so I tell myself I am 2/3rds done! and each week along gives me better odds if the baby is born too early. I am due Jan 23rd but I get a twinge every time I look at the calender around mid-december. I hope I'm wrong but I have a weird feeling wants to be born before Xmas. I've lost a dozen other pregnancies but none made it past the first 12-14 weeks. I truly feel this one is going to be just fine but the fear will be there unil he is in my arms and not my tummy. Good luck with the ultrasound!!! I have had 12 ultrasounds so far (at one point weekly! because of the bleeding) and baby kept his legs closed and kept turning each time until the week 22 ultrasound so we only found out last month he's a boy So here's some open leg vibes for you!!!
