Well I just gound out I am pregnant for the first time. I am 10 and

1/2 months out of my lap rny and thrilled. I have already made my

appt for the ob and I get to have an ultrasound on the first appt. I

am sort of new because I have been following the posts on another

email address but couldn't figure out how to respond from there so I

got a yahoo address. For some of you experienced mommies could you

tell me what will happen at my first appt.

welcome and congratulations tabitha! first OB appt might be a pelvic exam

(although i haven't had any internal exam with this one and i'm 24 weeks). they

have you pee in a cup and check your sugars and protein, fill out lots of paper

work, and that's about it...not too eventful. have a list of questions for your

OB reay and i'm sure he'll be happy to answer anything for you.

i'm jennifer, stay at home mom to 5 year old benjamin and 24 weeks pregnant with

another boy. married to air force man david. we live in wichita kansas.
