upper right side pain

I went through something like that in my first trimester and now

again my 3rd. I saw the GI doc and he did all the tests he could do

to a pregnant lady. Finally he said he thought it was simply the

scart tissue stretching. Can you tell if it's around any of your

scars from the surgery? Also, do you still have your gallbladder -

though that kind of pain doesn't sound like gallbladder pain.....

i had my gallbladder removed a few years back, b/c i did have gall

stones. so it might be scar tissue... it is about 2-3 inches right of

my insicion... maybe it is my liver? i dunno... maybe constipation?

although i am not horribly constipated- i do go, about everyother

day. (i was going 2-3 times a day), i read that can cause pain there?

hummm... thanx for your suggestions.

i'd say it's gsallbladder attacks. there's nothing they can do for you during

pregnancy, and it will be painful, but talk to your dr. he can do an ultrasound

on the glal ladder and see if you have gall stones, sinmple procedure. i was

diagnosed with it when i was 4 months pregnant with my first nad had my gall

bladder removed 4 months after his birth. mainly you want to stay away from

fatty or greasy food...pizza, french fries, etc. just my opinion, call your dr

on monday. good luck...

,

I have the exact same pain you describe and I, too, had my GB out 5

months before Open RNY. I t hink it must be a scar or a tight band of

tissue b/c it doesnt hurt all of the time, just occasionally when I

eat too much or too fast. Ihave to lie down on the bed on my rt side

to get the pain to go away. Be sure to mention it to your Dr though

(and tell me what he thinks we have...lol)
