Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am so sorry its been soooo long since I have posted. About 3 weeks ago, I lost my job. I have been working there for almost 2 years now and because I could not lift anything heavy, they said they could not use me.....so because of my pregnancy and inability to lift 50 lb boxes, they terminated me. Yea I know. Amazing! I did purchasing, sales, inventory, desktop publishing....office stuff....but on occasion, they wanted me to help in shipping and receiving......(and I was on restriction from my OB not to lift over 10 lbs since I am so high risk).....well, I was terminated! I have already checked with an attorney and the EEOC and apparently if the company has less than 15 employees, the discrimination law does not apply to them. So....they can legally discriminate and there is NOTHING I can do.......So.....it's been weird for me to go from working and attending school to NOT working and NOT attending school! However, it has given me some time for much needed rest and now I am starting to decorate Lynzie's nursery. She will be here before I realize it! I am now 24 weeks pregnant and will have my Level II ultrasound this coming Friday, Nov. 12. I cannot wait to see how she is growing. She is kicking alot these days and you can watch my stomach roll around and see her movements. Its so amazing. Our 12 year old son is just in awe watching and feeling my belly. He is so excited! Little Lynzie will be here in just 14 weeks now. We are planning to paint her nursery in about 2 weeks. Pink of course! Hope everyone is doing GREAT. Has anyone heard from ? I am sure she has had her baby by now....I am dying to know how she and baby are doing.
