My very first ultrasound with my now 7 yr old was also only the sac and the

pole.. no heartbeat. My doctor (she was fresh out of college) insisted on a d & c,

said the pg was not viable... I promptly called the front desk and demanded

another doctor. I wasn't very far along during that ultrasound, but she said my

hcg levels were high enough that we should have seen a heartbeat. My son was

delivered 3 weeks early at 8 1/2 lbs and 22 inches long. NOT viable my @ss!

Hang in there sweety!!! I also had a lot of bleeding with my daughter and

everything was fine.
