Re: miscarriages and feelings regarding them

I don't mean to take from any of your situations, but I do have a short " story. "

I had been married before and we had gotten pregnant twice and I had terminated

both pregnancies for reasons that I don't think are relevent here. I divorced 6

months after we were married (we dated for 5 years prior). I got on with my

life and met the man of my dreams. We wanted to start and family after we had

been married a year we decided to have children. I miscarried at about 8 weeks.

I could help but think that I was being punished for the decisions I had made in

the past. Well....just a few weeks later I got pregnant again! She is now 6

years old! Three and a half years later, I got pregnant again, and we now have

a two and a half year old and a 6 year old. This was all before WLS. I feel

blessed every day to have these children. I am now seriously considering adding

one more child to this family! Also...I am an adoptee! I was adopted when I

was 2.5 but two wonderful, loving,

accepting people. I was raised in a wonderful home where I have felt loved

every day of my entire life! I know that as women we really feel that bearing

children ourselves is our goal, please remember the people like me who needed a

home when I was 2.5. I am praying for each and every one of you to have safe

healthy pregnancies and that all your dreams come true, but please

remember...when it all comes down to it, children come in all sorts of packages!

I will send my fertility gods your way!!!
