Guest guest
Does anyone know if our bodies make breastmilk differently than before surgery? My newborn cries with stomach problems - gas, cramps and just pure pain - after every breastmilk meal. I am desperate to not stop breastfeeding. We have tried her on Similac Advanced Formula and she does fine. Could my body be not producing milk as well since I'm not absorbing as many calories, etc?? I'm really grasping at straws. I have already elimated all of the gassy foods - this is my second child - I breastfed for 9 months with my firstborn - before my WLS. Any ideas or suggestions? I've received a RX for Reglan but doesn't seem to help either. Thanks,
