Guest guest
: This is a good point that Liz has brought up. With Landon I tried to reduce the omega capsules and I actually cut out a dose of 3 caps. We didn't lose any of the progress he had made with speech or sensory issues. After I reduced the omegas, I was expecting a regression in the areas mentioned above and the opposite happened, he surged with articulation and better sentences. It was explained to me that it could have been due to the vitamin E. I tested this by not giving him vitamin E for 2 days and by the third day he was regressing so I added it back in. Landon is on a lower dose of vitamin E (200iu/200mg) than many so when I lowered the omegas it was like I added more vitamin E when I actually didn't. If you could lower the omegas without losing any of the good speech he may also have the same type of reaction. Since though I have had to add the omegas back in because of his skin and allergies. He had really bad eczema as a toddler and the dry skin started to show it's ugly head again and he developed allergy shiners. Eventually I will have to raise the E to make up for the extra omegas.
