Guest guest
I am new to this group. I am going to go off of the pill next month is opes of trying to conceive... However, I am a planner! So I am interested in knowing what the nutritional daily requirements are and what additional vitamins I may need, since I don't know what we absorb enough of so I can pass enough to the baby. I currently take a womans multi-vit, folic acid, iron, B1, b12. I need to do better with my calcium. How many calories do we need to intake a day while preggers? Any other vits? I have read to take a pre-natal AND a regular multi, did any of you do this? Curious to hear from you. Thanks in advance for your help! Guest guest
I know that you only need an extra 300 calories aday to sustain a baby. I would up the calcium, because babies are like leeches and suck the calcium right out of your bones and teeth. I dont' take a prenatel but I chew 4 flintstones with iorn. Good luck.
