Guest guest
Narice: Glad to hear how well Phil is doing today. I was thinking of him last night when I could not get to sleep and went searching for an Ativan. I needed it to counteract the effects of the steroids I received yesterday during chemo. They make you hyper and jittery and your heart beats very fast. Ativan works well. Glad your boys are doing well. This is so stressful for children and really can hurt their ability to focus on their studies. Narice, I forgot, where do you live? in California Well, after a week of backaches, low blood counts, bloating, rashes and every other weird side effect Phil's body is calming down and he can give more attention to his pastorate. Dr. Rothman gave him some pain pills and Ativan which is an anti-anxiety sedative that calms the body down and allows it to heal better. It allowed him to relax more and get some much needed sleep. The pain seems under control now though the rash and bloating continue. Dr. Rothman will be reducing the chemo dose and told Phil " It WILL get better " Dan is doing very well at Thiel and seems to be thriving being on his own, though he does keep in touch very well. Tim is doing well in High School although he does seem to be frustrated with some of his classmates who choose to disrupt class or act out on a regular basis. It was definitely a tough couple of weeks but your love and concern and especially your prayers continue to support and sustain us.
