Guest guest
Hi, Jane. Sorry your chemo was cancelled and the pain you are having with the duodenum tumor. Praying everything gets checked out and gets back to schedule. ~Deb from KS Jane wrote: Last week I saw my DR. and she said she wanted me to start chemo again this week. But she also said she wanted to think about it because she wanted to use Avastin. I take coumadin plus the tumor in my duodenum was bleeding last year so she is concerned. I was to start tomorrow but the DRs. office called and said the Dr. wants me to see my gastroenterologist before we start anything else. Chemo is cancelled and I have an appt at the GI dr tomorrow. The nurse said she thought that I would be scheduled for an endoscopy to check out that tumor. I am hoping we can do this quickly as the tumor is causing pain and I want to do something for it asap. This is a never ending battle, it is always something happening. Jane --------------------------------- Yahoo! for Good Click here to donate to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. Guest guest
I saw the GI Dr. today and he scheduled me for an upper GI endoscopy next Tuesday. This will be good since then we can see just what is going on inside there. One good thing is that I am not getting a colonoscopy too so I do not have to do that prep! WooHoo!
