Guest guest
Please see the message below about an exciting new opportunity for new health care providers. ---------------- Dear Colleague: Applications are available for the 2004 New Provider Practicum in Migrant Health (formerly known as the Migrant Health Care Fellowship). This program is a 4-month clinical experience designed for recent graduates of Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse-Midwife and Dental Hygienist programs. Through the Practicum, new clinicians have the opportunity to provide health care to migrant farmworkers and other underserved populations at a migrant health center during the peak of the migrant season. In addition, migrant health centers have the opportunity to work with some of the most talented new clinicians entering the workforce. We'd appreciate if you could help get the word out about this exciting program by posting this message to any appropriate listservs or websites. Applications for students and health centers wishing to participate are due December 31st, 2003. Application materials can be downloaded or completed online at www.migrantclinician.org. For questions related to the New Provider Practicum in Migrant Health, please feel free to contact me at kugelzur@... or at(814) 238-6566.
