Guest guest
Thank you Lydia, I enjoy riding very much. I have way to many animals. I do enjoy them but at times feel very over whelmed with all the work that goes into their care. Yes, I enjoy the rural life. (bad part is cancer care is over an hour drive away) I could never live in a confined area. I love cats too. Have dogs, cats, horses and a pet wolf. The sad part is I have several older animials that need more care then the others. My old dog is a 14 year old White German shepard. Her hips are going on her and needs help to get up and go out. Often have to hold her up so she can go outside. I hate seeing her like this. But cannot seem to put her down because of this. She has always been such a good dog. Have a cat that is 21 years old. she has gotten so thin and has medical problems too. Then my oldest horse is 26 years old. He has some arthritis but other then that he is doing great. I love all of them but there are days when all I do is do them. Oh well, God made them too. Guest guest
Hi Lydia, Yes, Living on a horse ranch can be a lot of work. It is as much work as you allow it to be. I have a 13 year old son that helps me a lot. He is in school during the day so when he gets home he helps me with the feeding and such. My husband works a lot of hours but he does the heavy lifting such as getting hay and such. My husband does not really enjoy the horses but he saids he does them just because of me. He wants me to be happy. I love animals very much and enjoy the horses. We have several stallions and we breed horses. I would love to have kids that would like to come to the states but our house is very small and we do not have any extra bedrooms. I think that would be a problem. How are you feeling? Have you been doing good? Guest guest
Lydia, Thank you too for telling me about your sons. What are their names? You said your oldest son is a Informatic Consultant. What does that mean. What is it that he does? I bet you are very proud of your sons. You sound like you are. Do you have any daughters? Your youngest boy is studying photography. Does he have many cameras? What does he like to photograph? Sorry to ask so many questions. I am sending extra prayers up that your six month tests come up clean. I know how frightening it is to wait for the answers on the tests. Only another cancer survivor would understand the fears of each test. Please let us know how the tests turn out. When will you know? Guest guest
Lydia, Yes, it sounds like you have two very lovely boys. It is so good that you son's are working on their careers. Often children get lazy and then try to live off the parents. Your son's are making a life for themselves. You have really taught them well!!! How are you feeling? How do your son's feel about the cancer? Are they frightened about it. My son is scared but I think he is handling it very well. I worry about him and what his thinking is. I know he is scared something will happen to me. I want to be here for him and fight to win over this. Thank you for listening. Guest guest
Lydia, You sound like such a wonderful mom. You worry about your son's. I think you an amazing woman. You did not get lost with all the cancer woes. You still worried about your children. So many moms who are healthy and do not have cancer looking at them do not worry about there children. You are such a special mom to care and worry about them. I feel that is what a family should be like. The world would be a better place and children would be so much better adjusted if all parents were like you.
