Guest guest
Hi Jon Sounds like you are doing okay so far. These days the nausea is controllable. All sorts of drugs there for that. Thankfully I didn't have that problem... I usually got through the chemo just fine, but once they took off the pack and I started coming down --- then I got really tired. I always did my chemo on Tues and Wed, Thurs would turn in the pump, then I had two more days of feel good pills to take and after that some days it was like getting hitting my a truck. Didn't get sick, just gosh awful tired... so I just chilled and laid around until I felt better. Had a few days of reasonably normal feelings until the next round started. Towards the end the side effects just sort of hung on a bit longer. Was glad to be done with it all, and hope and pray it doesn't come back but who knows. I just hope I get my Onc appt this month so I can finally get my CEA and hope I can truly say NED.... Hang in there, you are doing fine...
