Guest guest
I checked out your website and the blogs. Some great material there... Enjoyed the reading and will come back again... Enjoyed the photos as well, I bet you made a really good Grinch. LOL... Just a lazy Saturday afternoon here... Really lovely day - got front and back doors open but hate having to open windows - have 22 in house and sure as heck not going to open them all.. I don't like sleeping with them open at night. Not the greatest neighborhood anymore, and my dog Fred -creeps out at the slightest noise and wakes me up with his barking. Scares the crap out of me (well almost)..... Glad the treatments are going easy so far, I didn't mind my treatments at all during the first half, but as we headed toward the end they seemed to accumulate a bit more of the side effects. The only lingering side effects is the numbness in my finger tips and sensitivity to cold in them and bottom of my feet... More annoying than anything... About half way through I had low wbc and got a serious case of diarrhea, also low potassium.. So had to take big horse pills twice a day for awhile, and also every other week had to take the neupogen shots... Never thought I would give myself shots but handled it just fine. Well time to do a bit of work, have to clean off dining room table, is where I fold clothes. Got most of it done except last two loads, then got lazy. Hope you continue to sail through this.... Guest guest
>Thanks for the kind words. One thing I don't think I've mentioned in my >other posts is yet another comparison of the first chemo and this one. As >you know, you have to watch and act quickly on the diarrhea. The first >time, anytime I had any early symptons I simply popped one of the tiny >pills they had prescribed and it stopped. Well, this time one of the drugs also can cause constipation. I had a mild bout of it after the first round and the doc prescribed a laxative. So now I have to watch both ways and medicate myself accordingly. Ain't that something!
