Hi Folks,

My chemo consists of calcium, magnesium, rytril,

decadron, avastin, oxiplatin, and Xeloda.

My most resent problem since infusion 3 is my heels

feel like I'm walking on boken glass. They look fine

but hurt with the slightest pressure.

Has anyone got more experience with this and can tell

me what to try and how long it will last? Thanks for

all imputs.

Len, I am sorry you are having the sore heals. Everyone reacts

differently so it is hard to predict these things. I don't have any

answers for you but make sure you tell you onc. Hope it gets better

soon. I can imagine it must be most difficult to walk. I feel for you.

Deb,

Thanks for the info but it's really bad that it lasts

so long. I may have to get a wheel chair.

Hi Len ,

Joe has the same thing ( he has been done with chemo

since June )

It's neuropathy from the oxaplatin:(

Its suppose to get better eventually , Joe's feet hurt

so bad when he was on chemo and for a few months after

that he couldnt even stand up to go fishing:(

But they are getting better gradually, best advice we

can give is to keep them warm seems to help some

Hi Ingrid,

No I haven't had an appointment with onc since the

heal pain started. I have another appointment in a

week.
