Well, Glenn seems to be just a teensie bit better today...and I'm hoping it

just keeps up. We got yet another rx on Thurs. and it was really

expensive.... as Narice put it " gold dust " ...so now we are waiting for gold

nuggets...LOL His surgery was on Aug. 29th and the anti-biotic they put him on

caused

this " anti-biotic-related Colitis " ...this coming Tues. will be 5 weeks the poor

guy has been confined to no more than 20 ft. from the potty!! He has only a

matter of seconds for any kind of warning, so we've had plenty of oopsies.

How demeaning for a person to have to go through these kinds of things.

After 4 different rx's and even Pepto Bismol, I think they've finally got the

answer correct. In all fairness, the Dr. called this script in for Glenn over

a week ago and the co-pay was $187, so Glenn wanted him to prescribe

something else....the GI Dr. didn't even call him back for over 2 days and then

had

his sec. call and tell him to get the script he had called in for him!!! So,

on Thurs. we got 1/2 the rx and I must say it seems to be working somewhat.

Instead of every 20-30 mins., he's going hours in between. So some relief!!

Just hoping it keeps getting better...

And I am doing o.k....busy as usual...but I have gotten a very bad case of

bronchitis and sinusitis, so I've been under the weather the last 4 days.

Every one else in my office gets a regular headcold...I get bronchitis!!! It's

my own fault for still smoking... I hope one day soon I get tired of

coughing and hacking my head off and do something good for myself...but going

through all this with Glenn is my " excuse " right now.

Hello to all the new people....and welcome to our little family. I'm

reading the posts and praying for you all. Hopefully " things " will calm down

around here and I'll be back for regular posting.

And give Glenn a hug and tell him I've even considered putting a tv and

refrigerator in my bathroom. May as well be comfy:)
