Guest guest
Yikes, Tracey. You said this like it is an everyday thing. It isn't. I had a liver abscess following my abdominal surgery and was on the brink of death as a result. I spent an extra month in the hospital and another month in bed with a private nurse. Even then, I had catheters coming out of my liver (one under my diaphram) for a couple of months, with a bag that had to be drained daily. Yuk. This is awful. How long were you in the hospital? Is it completely resolved now? BTW: I was told that I got my abscess because the surgeon chose to do one operation to remove all of the cancer at the same time (that is, he resectioned the colon and resectioned the liver in one surgery - and removed other organs, 2 of which were malignant.) > > > > > > Had an abscess in my colon the size of a melon.
