Guest guest
Greggory can be explained the rules and then we tell him why he should or shouldnt do something and that seems to work fairly well. But Jeff just thinks that Greggory wont pay attention. Oh well. Jacquie H Re: Bikes? rides her bike on the sidewalk and I walk on the street side. We also go to the part and practice her turns on another street (Yorkshire it's just a side street). I fill up old soda bottles with the labels peeled off with colored water and we use them as cones. Then I use chalk to mark where she can ride and big X where she can't. I figure if I work on these things early enough she'll pick it up. I would stick with him or take him to the park until you feel confident that he will use the safety rules. Do you do social stories with him too? We've done practice runs with those toy play cars to show her what could happen if you cross the street without looking. Best of luck.
