Guest guest
Oooh, , how scary. I had a dryer fire too once but caught it very early. Most lucky since the dryer is in the basement and could have done some big damage before being noticed perhaps. Not now as my sump pump is still not working and my basement is flooded. Guest guest
Yikes. I leave everything on. Crockpot, washer (have to), dryer, etc. My mother used to unplug everything! The toaster was the oddest thing... I used to think, " why does she have to unplug the toaster? " . Oh! And I could never talk on the phone or take a shower during a thunderstorm. I don't think twice about doing these things. I'm such a risk taker. ;-) Penny RE: holy smokes! Oh GINA!!!!!!! I'm so glad everybody is okay. My mother in law repeatedly tells me not to leave the dryer on when I leave the house, but I never listen to her. Maybe I will from now on. I'm glad you have someplace to stay!!!
