Guest guest
J had mentioned an old medicine called Tincture of Opium for diarrhea when everything else OTC and prescription would not work. Maybe this might help. ~Deb from KS AveriRN@... wrote: Deb, I'm sorry I don't know your story but if your hubby had colon surgery and the diarrhea has become a problem since then I know what he is going through. I, too, have the same sporadic episodes with diarrhea that can last for hours on end (PS the zinc oxide wipes someone wrote of sound wonderful to my behind LOL) is horrible. I have tried all the OTC meds plus prescription ones such as Lomotil with nothing helping me so far, well no help when I really need it to work. I wished I could tell you something that really helped but for me, I have been dealing with this " side effect " of surgery since Dec 03 and haven't found anything yet. Best Wishes and if you find something that works for your husband please pass it along. Sincerely, Averi __________________________________________________

It has allowed me to get a couple of hours of sleep at one time instead of up and down every hour or so. It is very very potent (sp?) You only use tiny drops of it with a needle syringe (minus the needle of course). Ask your doctor or pharmacist about it. nancy j ---------- No virus found in this outgoing message. Guest guest
It is very much a prescription medicine. And a controlled substance. You will have to have your doctor write a prescription and the pharmacist will probably have to order it. nancy Re: Should we worry?
