Subject: RE: Good Faith Payment

Hi. Jolene. Hope you are feeling better today. :)

My husband's doctor who did the colonoscopy said to wait until we get the

bill three times and then call his office to say we couldn't pay and he

would write it off. Yes!!!

I have put all the other bills in a folder with pockets. It is pretty heavy.

I almost feel like I don't care how much money I spend now, because we will

never be in a good financial situation ever again. Ok, that is silly

thinking, but that is what I'm thinking. haha

Here are my questions: If I owe many different places, do I just send each

one of them my first payment of say $10 or $25 or whatever? I would have to

figure out how much we could send each one per month. It gives me a headache

to think about these expenses. Or do I have to call all these medical

offices first, to inform them that I can't pay their bills and then promise

to send them such and such amount every month? Thank you in advance.

Well I guess good intentions would encourage me to call them and them, that

I am going to try and pay these bills but I can only pay XX amount each

month or every other month. Tell them you have every intention of paying

them so would appreciate it if they would work with you and not harass you.

From then on pay what you can afford. I don't see how they can refuse an

honest effort to pay....

Hope this helps Jolene

Hi, Karima. Sorry you don't have caller ID. Maybe you could hook one

up when you get to your new home. They little ones that have like a

10 call memory are not as expensive as the 50 call memory.

Sorry you are running to the bathroom today. It is frustrating, but

if you try to make light of it, you may cheer up. Pretend you are

training for a marathon. :)

I just found something I had copied from someone, but don't remember

who. Bless the lady who wrote this:

It may take 2 years for him to get close to normal again. The colon

is the part of the bowel that removes the water from the stool -- so

with less colon there is more water but eventually the colon that is

left will adjust. My husband takes Imodium, Lomotil and sometimes

Questran -- he takes meds everyday at least 2 times a day.
