Guest guest
Thank you, Jolene. I haven't really been harassed by anyone, because so far they have only sent the bills. But, thankfully, I do have a secret weapon: caller ID. ::smiles:: Take care, ~Deb from KS Jolene Ehret wrote: Here are my questions: If I owe many different places, do I just send each one of them my first payment of say $10 or $25 or whatever? I would have to figure out how much we could send each one per month. It gives me a headache to think about these expenses. Or do I have to call all these medical offices first, to inform them that I can't pay their bills and then promise to send them such and such amount every month? Thank you in advance. ~Deb from KS Well I guess good intentions would encourage me to call them and them, that I am going to try and pay these bills but I can only pay XX amount each month or every other month. Tell them you have every intention of paying them so would appreciate it if they would work with you and not harass you. From then on pay what you can afford. I don't see how they can refuse an honest effort to pay.... Hope this helps Jolene Visit your group " colon_cancer_support " on the web. --------------------------------- Yahoo! Guest guest
Caller ID. They have ussually called me with the unknown coming up on my caller ID. They can be sneaky. I am not as of yet hiding from them. Just trying to make payments however small they may be. Guest guest
Before I had caller ID I used to think it was just for people who were avoiding credit companies. Now I have it and just love it. There are certain people that call me that at times I just do not feel like talking to them. Caller ID has been wonderful. Not to mention that I never showed my son how to delete calls so can track whom is calling him. Just Love it!!! Now if it would only track the out going calls I could really check after my son.
