Guest guest
's problem sounds like mine did. I had stage III and 2 nodes affected with cancer. was rector cancer, I had radiation and chemo for 5 months, to shrink it so he could operate and put it back together. I had 4 months. of it and quite it. was 3 times a week. ended up in hospital for 11 days, with a small bowel bockage, had a port and got a bacterial infectin in that, so had it taken out. thought it was from the radiation, but when he operated said it was 3 bands of adheasions? from other sergurys i had had. it was shrunk enought for him to operate on. then said the 2 nodes were cancer so wanted me to take more chemo and radiation. i took the chemo, but refused the radiation the second time. 12 weeks two times a week for a total of 24 times. I quite it also the last 3 weeks, just couldn't take any more. but have had a ct scan, blood work and another colonospy? and no sign of any cancer. Just hoping it will continue that way. I will have the colomosty taken down on Oct. 31. looking forward to that. ( long as i don't get the runs like Kermia has. lol) Hard to tell how it will affect , as they say, every one is different. Tell her to hang in there. have faith. and lots of prayers going up for her. -hanky
Guest guest
Hi Congratulations on your upcoming take-down! You sure have been through a lot (like many people in this group) and you are all very brave! I'm glad to hear that there are no more signs of cancer for you. > > 's problem sounds like mine did.
