Guest guest
Well is doing okay. She could be better but we have learned from this experience that we will take any good as we get it. She just went through (last Monday) her 7th chemo treatment so she is on the downhill slide towards the end of these treatments. I can tell you for a fact she was ready to be done with them more than a month ago. But now I think she actually looks forward to the next one. Okay maybe not in the sense of actually getting it, but knowing she is that much closer to the end of these treatments. She goes in on Thursday for a Catscan and complete blood work. We are hopefull nothing bad will show up. She just had a catscan a month or two ago and it came back clean from the gastroenterologist so we are again hoping this one comes back the same way. Her nueropathy hasn't gotten much worse, it does last a little bit longer now though. She won't go near anything cold at all now because she is afraid she'll freak out. She said she did have a little double vision today, but I'm not sure if that is due to the chemotherapy or something else. I think her hair thinning has slowed a bit as she doesn't talk about it as much as before and I haven't noticed much hair in the sink. She still feels a little pain now and then in her stomach but the gastroenterologist explained the reason for that to us. Her appetite has been pretty good for the past few weeks and isn't losing any weight which is good. Her skin in areas has darkened a bit, but not too bad. Other than that she is doing good, today. We keep fighting as hard as we can and will not allow this disease to defeat us. Dan &
