Donelle, I am worried since you have been sick for more then a few

days. Are you getting any better at all?

Gosh, how I wish you got more then a couple hours sleep at a time.

The rest would help you get over this so much quicker. Have you tried

a vaporizer. Some steam adding the humidy would help you a lot. Ingrid

Thanks, Ingrid....I got a script for some good drugs...LOL Glenn can't have

them all... LOL Seriously, my dr. called in an rx for some cough syrup with

codeine. I actually slept in Glenn's lazy boy and only got up a couple

times (and that was to potty) I drank water each time I got up to keep the

congestion loosened up, so I can cough without losing my breath. Omigosh, I

feel

a little better this morning, but I'm not going to work. In fact, I went to

work yesterday and my boss told me not to come in today...so, even though I

have no sick days left, I'm assuming he's still going to pay me. If not, so

be it... I'm too old to struggle getting in to work when I'm this weak and

tired. Have had this for over a week and this is the first sign of it getting

any better!! I use to breeze through bronchitis when I was younger....LOL

Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle

Donelle:

Both of my boys have had this bronchitis for over one month. The cough is

horrible -- my 10 year old coughs so much he actually throws up. When they

cough they have trouble breathing. They have been on 2 rounds of antibiotics

(Z-pack is the latest), inhalers for each, and the cough syrup with codeine.

This virus takes a while to clear up. In the meantime, I hope to g-d that

you are not smoking. I know you are going through more than anyone can take,

but believe me, we are all there and there are better ways to cope. I just

don't want you to get something more serious. You need rest and sleep. With

Glen's issues, that can be difficult but take all the naps you can.

Thinking of you.

Donelle,

It just dawned on me that when I had bronchitis for 3 months, they finally gave

me an inhaler, advair. You may want to check on that. It did the trick along

with a bunch of water - really loosened that stuff up.

You need to feel better - you are one of our " uppers " !!

Hugs to you and Glenn - donna
