Guest guest
Thank you Lesley, that's JUST what I needed to hear shortly before we go on holiday, especially as we will get home at around 11pm - NOT a good time to start evacuating all the 8-leggeds who've started squatting in our absence! :-( I hate this time of year... Anneliese and Toddler Tim who of course sang the first verse of " wheels on the bus " in perfect tune, time and lyrics just as we hung up on the wrinklies tonight! ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 10 Date: Sun, 26 Aug 2001 13:50:42 +0100 Subject: That Time of Year Again It's That Time of Year again. Yes, the arachnophobes nightmare season. DH found a large 8 legged critter on our bed last week. He managed to whisk DD2 away before she saw it but of course, it had disappeared by the time he came back. He found it eventually - inside his pillow. Yeuch! There was also a large one on the wardrobe door and then this morning DS2 saw an enormous version on a towel in the bathroom. It fell on the floor, he whopped it with his slipper but it ran out under the door, onto the landing and now we don't know where it its! Oh help! Guest guest
Forewarned is forearmed, liese, tee hee!! Another one ran out from under the chair DD1 was sitting on tonight. DS2 said it wasn't this morning's escapee, who must still be roaming the house. :-((( Lesley ------------------ From: " Anneliese > Thank you Lesley, that's JUST what I needed to hear shortly before we go on > holiday, especially as we will get home at around 11pm - NOT a good time to > start evacuating all the 8-leggeds who've started squatting in our absence! > > :-( I hate this time of year... Guest guest
I'd rather have spiders than moths any day - at least spiders won't eat my clothes! http://www.foxstitch.co.uk/
Guest guest
I don't mind catching moths and butterflies to eject them. Do you really get moths in your clothes? Maybe it's too cold for them in Scotland!
