My friend who is a doctor is going to call me in the morning to discuss my Pet scan. I just don't like the language that said that they did not see this on my prior scans so it looks like it is new. That is scary. They conclude that it could be " recurrent/residual tumor, postinflammatory change, or postsurgical change. " I was going to go to services today but instead I am so stressed that I am heading for my weekly " mindfulness " class at the Wellness Community (a cancer support group) to meditate. How are you doing? I loved the photos of the horses and you.
Guest guest
Hi Lydia: You said it. I am stressed out and realize I did mix you up with Ingrid. Thanks so much for your encouaging comments. I have to just hope that this is not a recurrent tumor and go on with my chemo. I will be on round 6 next week. At least I will be one half of the way through this horrible experience. Hope you are well. , It's me Lydia. You must be so stressed that you have confused me with Ingrid. Listen - I am not a doctor and not the person who wrote you the results for the Pet scan. But I am sure it's only a postsurgical change. It's so normal to have a postsurgical change. They are not sure themselves, other wise they would have written that the tumor is there again. They haven't. On the other hand they must be alert to any change they happen to see. It happened to my husband something like this with the Cat scan. His onc has reassured us. After months we have seen the same change, just like before. The same size and everything. It was the tissius. Don't worry please. I love you. I am praying very hard for you. You will be ok trust me.
