LOL. Hi, Lydia. Love you, too. I can't go to bed now. I have to take my

blood pressure pill at 6 am. Better stay up thirty more minutes then go to

sleep.

This insomnia is getting sickening. I swear, I wanted to go to sleep at

midnight, but the mind just kept moving around and thinking and didn't want to

stop. Like a ceiling fan that you cannot reach to turn it off. Oh well, maybe

tomorrow night. Ummm, maybe Thursday night. Yes, Thursday night is good. haha

Deb....have you ever tried putting music, with words, on to go to sleep

with?? I find that if I actively concentrate on the words to the music, my

mind

doesn't spin around like a ceiling fan looking for all kinds of " s..t " to

think and worry about. It's miserable when you can't sleep. Do you sleep any

during the day??

Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle

Sometimes when I can't sleep I put music on, but without words,

instrumentals. If I hear any talking or voices they get into my dreams if I

dream and then I don't sleep very well. So I put on harp music, or flute and

whistle.. Something soothing and peaceful. Is not new age but celtic music

most of time. It does help.

Celtic harps or try Gregorian chant. That's what I listen to when I get stuck

in traffic.

I have a tape that was given to me from the Wellness Center where I attend a

class in body/mind connection (i.e., how to relax and get into the " now " ).

Every time I put in on and put the headphones in my ears, I go to sleep. In

class, that is a " no, no " since I am not in the present but in dreamland. The

object of the class is to " focus " . Does anyone out there go to Wellness?

It is a non-profit group with yoga, group therapy, etc. classes for cancer

patients (and it is all free).
