Guest guest
OK, we have gluten sensitivity genes in the speech kid and I believe a casaein allergy in that kid as well as overexposure to fluoride. We have gluten sensitivity genes and DQ2, the most common and seemingly " benign " celiac gene in NT daughter. I don't think casein is her deal but fluoride overexposure was. They are both GFCF and mostly SF except for an occasional mid treat (3 times in 7 months). They are doing well but: 1) Elimination diet shows gluten to be her enemy more than milk and the reverse for him. 2) We will test with the GI at the 1 year mark. I would like to stay on this diet for him because I think he needs it. For her the constipation makes me wonder. If she were simply celiac she would be fine with the diet and supports we have. I worry about B vitamins and dietary fiber. Suggestions for both until we get to the one year mark are greatly appreciated. Remember, we are avoiding fluoride as well. This may just be a passing thing though. She finally got back on meat. Just would not eat it, so we are progressing and it may simply take time to level her out.
