Guest guest
DMSA chelation and Candida (yeast) control is a concern of mine. I already have Candida throughout my body (mouth, blood, intestinal) and need to start DMSA chelation. How much should I try to control the Candida prior and during DMSA chelation? I have already reduced carbs and sugar and plan on following the Candida diet during chelation. Should I also start taking anti-fungals, including Nystatin, prior or during chelating with DMSA or wait until I am through? Going through sugar withdrawal and chelating at the same time - what fun. If you are not eating meat, then you are probably eating rice, grains, and potatoes, all of which feed yeast. Since DMSA increases yeast, while you are chelating, you probably need to take even stronger anti-yeast measures. I've been on SCD for 5 months now, and I am still struggling with yeast. I have no idea how I'd manage if I didn't eat meat. But perhaps others don't have the yeast problems that I do. ---Katharine Jada <paxlforme (AT) yahoo (DOT) com> wrote: See this post: She chelated on Andy's protocol as a 15 year vegan. She made sure to get enough nutrients, protein, and the vitamins and minerals needed for chelation.
