Guest guest
After spending two years on Autism-Mercury battling yeast and discussing and treating candida, here is what we have learned: Yeast goes with metals. If you have metals, you'll have yeast. Mercury kills off certain flora in the gut this allows other flora like candida to overgrow. So this first measure sets us up for candida to take over. Yes, candida protects the gut in some measure from mercury damage, another reason it overgrows. Third reason: your immune system is suppressed from mercury. Mercury also allows other viruses, and bacterial to inhabit your body unchecked, not just candida. Neutrophils kill many things, and their ability to do this is impaired in mercury poisoning. I think if I remember right that applied beyond just candida. This goes for any white cells, (aka immune system suppression or dysfunction), also why we get autoimmune. This is the reason so many metal kids on A-M have underlying viral/bacterial infections for years. So one: your gut is destroyed from mercury imbalancing the normal flora. This is also what causes leaky gut. Years of candida unchecked makes holes in the intestinal wall, and allows partially digested proteins to leak into the blood stream. (see A-M on that too) Two: Candida loves mercury:as the methylation paper said Three: low immune function is caused by mercury, normally without mercury, the body always has candida, but it keeps a balance of it. It is not able to do this in the presence of mercury for the reasons above. I honestly have not talked to one person with metal poisoning who is candida free or does not have a yeast problem to some degree. On Mercury Autism yeast treatment is a part of chelation using Andy's protocol. What we see is that people who don't treat this overgrowth of candida are a lot sicker and don't do well with chelation. Especially, children. In fact most of the side effects parents ask about when a child is on a round, are from the yeast overgrowth, which once treated, go away and chelation goes on with no side effects. Too much candida is very toxic and infects the entire body, releasing toxins. So you do want to treat it. And your body will continue to allow it to overgrow while you go through treatment, until you reach a point when the mercury is low enough and the immune system well enough. The reports on A-M are somewhere around 50-60 rounds..yeast finally subsides. There are also other viral/bacterial problems to deal with, which is why we also have a viral protocol for that. It seems mercury toxic people walk around with all kinds of bugs for years. The only reason for taking neutrophil boosters is for people who get low neutrophils from using dmsa, as you said. These people get very sick if they don't bring their levels back up. The rest of us don't need to do this, but as you said need antifungals. Someone who gets sick a lot would needs immune boosting products. On A-M some children have to take them to get through chelation because there immune systems are so badly damaged. > > I've been thinking about how is it that so many of us have to struggle > with yeast when we start chelation. Cutler says that mercury impairs > neutrophils ability to kill yeast. >

I am someone who is seriously poisoned and has no yeast problem. I do have low numbers of beneficial gut organisms (confirmed by testing). Guest guest
OK so I have talked to ONE person..sorry . Let's say that most people unless you have confirmed that you don't have candida via testing and antibodies should not rule it out. Most people who have used antibotics, or birth control pills should look into this. A good source to read if your interested in finding out if candida is an issue is " The Yeast Connection " . > > > > > > I honestly have not talked to one person with metal poisoning who is > > candida free or does not have a yeast problem to some degree. > > > I am someone who is seriously poisoned and has no yeast problem. > > I do have low numbers of beneficial gut organisms (confirmed by testing). > > J >
Guest guest
I don't have a yeast problem either; but that's because I am on a sulfur restricted diet. Since the yeast need sulfur to grow, they are in trouble in my gut!
