Hi everyone:

For those of you taking Avastin, have you had high blood pressure?

Mine is up to 160/95 and today they are calling in a prescription for

medication.

Also, (for women only), have any of you had any unusual vaginal

bleeding? I have this now and I am off to the gyn tomorrow.

Re: Avastin side effects????

and Marty,

My father was on 15 cycles of Avastin -- he developed high blood pressure

after about 1 year and takes medication for it. He had nosebleeds only

twice. But the biggest concern is the protein level in the urine -- if it's

too hight, it means that the kidneys are not working well. My father had to

stop Avastin for a few months to let the kidneys rest... we hope he can

resume it soon since Avastin really works well to control his tumors.

Hugs,

Nickie

I have the nosebleeds too. It must be Avastin.

Hang in there. You are at the end. Things will be better soon.

My BP has been quite a bit higher than its usual athletic self.

No bleeding, except for occasional nosebleeds.

Hi Len:

I just picked up my blood pressure medication. It is Norvasc 5mg.

I went to the ob/gyn today due to the bleeding and he did a biopsy of my

female parts but said he doesn't expect it to be malignant. To be cautious, he

is sending me for an ultrasound of my abdomen and a mamogram with ultrasound.

More fun running around for testing but I suspect this is just Avastin side

effects.

Stay well, Len.

I don't have cancer but am 46 when I had heavy bleeding they found fibroids.

Doctor said it was not a problem and not cancer. Sometimes our age and

things like cysts and fibroids cause this stuff. As for the blood pressure 5mg

is

a very low dose so they must expect it to normalize after chemo. Watch your

salt and get plenty of rest that helps lower mine.

Hi Ms.,

I'm vicky from Malaysia. I am a member in this forum too.

I saw many people are suffering from various chronic diseases

including you too.

I am a health consultant here.

I read your message that you're having blood pressure and also the

bleeding in your urine.

Well, for your information, in Malaysia, there are so many people

out there having this disease.

I have helped many people out here, and it works, they have been

cured.

Hospital medication is a prevention basis only, but its not making

it to be cured actually.

I feel like wanted to help you.

What do you think? If you feel you want to know about it, i can

explain it but, i need you to reply me this mail whether you agree

or not?

Don't worry, your diseases have the chances to be cured, but over 99%

cured here in Malaysia.

Take care.

Reply soon.

Regards,

Vicky
