Anneliese, DS1 has a good trike from Toys R Us. Not sure if it has a

specific brand name on it, but it's very solid. He had it shortly before

his third birthday, but DS2 who is not quite 2.5 has been riding it for a

long time, perhaps a year - I say riding, but he doesn't actually use the

pedals as he knows he can get around faster by using his feet!

Timmy the Toddler is DESPERATE for a bike/trike with real pedals - he

tries to ride any he sees! He'll be 2 in three weeks, but he is little for

his age (Baby Gap clothes for his age group fit him!) - he's below the 25%

for weight and height. Does anyone know of anyone who makes a small trike

with pedals? Or have you any ideas where to look?

You just reminded me that is how my DS2 rode his tricycle for ages

and ages as it was quicker.

He was also small for age but has been riding a proper bikes for ages

with no stabelisers (SP?) He picked that up a lot quicker than his

older brother and now just age 6 must have been riding it for 2 years

at least.

Yes Argos,

DD1 has the 15.75 yellow, red and green one, which isn't too big and heavy

although for a 2 year old I'd spend a bit more and get a parent pole

(efficient peddling takes practice!)
