Guest guest
Apologies for the blanket e-mail but you'll soon see the reason why! Firstly thank you for all the good luck messages and kind wishes unfortunately they will have to go on hold. I have just got home from the hospital where they have said that I am just not well enough for the operation to go ahead. As I am having a 'planned' hysterectomy the anaesthetist has said that I am not well enough, a risk of secondary infection, too run down etc The cold that I have had for months has not shifted and this week decided to end up on my chest (no mean feat I know!) I have been sent to home for absolute complete rest (the only way that will get better) The consultant is aware that I am on the edge between planned and emergency. He wants me to stay in bed all weekend and will decide Sunday night/Monday morning if he will operate this time next week, if not then definitely the week after. As you can imagine I am totally exhausted both physically and mentally, as I had really prepared for the Op, (and not rested at all, in fact have been running about like the proverbial blue bottomed fly). Anyway, feel free to mail me! My darling Hubby will print off the messages and no doubt occasionally let me down stairs and near my computer! If you call you will get him, if a monster answers it will only be my mum doing her best to keep you all at bay! Take care Beverly x

Meals in bed I think might be in order, as well as drinks on demand and nice relaxing baths that will be run for you, maybe a massage will help! Make the most of this enforced rest and at least you know now that you house is in order and this time next week you will proabably have had your operation. Guest guest
Oh poor you Beverly, to get psyched up and then let down; a bit like the way I was this morning re Yeshaya going to Yeshivah next week (it's sorted now but I won't bore you as this mail is about YOU not about ME ) ). Make sure you get absolute peace and quiet, loads of sleep, delicious meals you don't have to cook or clear up, and pampering.
