Guest guest
If the end of round problems are more than what you think are acceptable, then lower the chelator dose slightly. Investigate diet, supplement and lifestyle ways to provide adrenal support (search through the posts at autism mercury as adrenal support is discussed there all the time). > > Hi All; > My little grandson is 7 years old , non-verbal. > We are using Andy Cutlers protocol. > We are in round 18, with 18mgs of ALA every 3 hrs, 4 at nite 3 days > on,11 days off. Guest guest
Joyce. You would probably get more/better advice on the autism-mercury list, since that's where all the parents are. You would expect that at the end of the round, there will be some symptoms. As long as it doesn't go on for about 24 hours, you are fine. I'm guessing he's 45 lbs of kid? Well then, he is doing a moderate dose. If the hyperactivity is too much, you can decrease the dose. You might also consider increasing the vitamin C as high as you can get it without him getting loose bowels. Make sure he is taking a couple of tsp CLO and zinc at 20mg + 1mg/lb of kid. Also, make sure that the dietary things have been looked into - have they done a " sulfur exclusion diet " (search using onibasu.com)? Have they done an " elimination diet " (some stuff in the files section here)? Both of those might help. That's all I can come up with right now. I wish I had such a devoted grand-ma! We are using Andy Cutlers protocol. We are in round 18, with 18mgs of ALA every 3 hrs, 4 at nite 3 days on,11 days off. We have noticed some really good gains, but we have one problem,at the end of a round or the next day, he seems very agitated and hyper. We give GSE for yeast and Biotin, Also gets Probiotics TriEnza enzymes Vit C Zinc Magnesium B-50 Complex Calcium Omega Pure liquid 3-6-9 What would be causing this behavior after the chelation is done? Guest guest
Where is the liver support? All the kids and adults too get symptoms like this after a round, sometimes adding more vitamin c can help, as well as increasing yeast protocol. For my son, yeast makes all that worse, and he gets way more yeast on a round. Check the supplement list for chelation on Autism-Mercury to be sure he is on all the support needed and at the right doses. Also try giving Epsom Salt baths when he gets that way. They are very calming for kids in the throws of post rounds. Good Gains! Means it's working!
