Guest guest
Jacquie, My condolences on the loss of Jeff's grandfather. We didn't even make an attempt at Easter. {{{Jacquie}}} Hope next Easter is better for you. ellen Easter? It was easter? You wouldn't have known if you came to my house. I had all the best intentions. But this last year with Yessenia has really been so different. Jeff and I showered and got back into PJs in the morning. No nice easter clothes for us I guess. I got the kids dressed in their clothes. The boys in slacks and button down shirts with vests. Yessenia is a new pink dress with her typical bow to match. She proceeded to vomit on it after about 30 mins. Alec troe off his clothes and Greggory whined that he wanted to wear Alec's clothes. ~sigh~ We didnt color any eggs so no egg hunt. They did get easter baskets from my parents. They were all covered in chocolate. We didnt go to church as the kids were not nearly in a good mood. At one point I was yelling at the damn dogs! They got into the trash and one dog was on the kitchen table! We did manage to have turkey for dinner. Of course just Jeff and I ate it. The boys had pizza. Jeff's grandfather passed away that weekend. He had to get re ady to leave Easter evening for a 4 hour trip down south. There was no way I was going to take all the kids to the funeral and I didnt feel like sitting around with them. So we spent the evening looking to see if Jeff had any clothes to wear. He didn't. ~sigh~ That was easter at my house. Jacquie H

Guest guest
I can relate...we did'nt even have Easter baskets for them. How pathetic are we? No colored eggs..at least they did some at school. We went to an Easter egg hunt, and it was not one of Zach's (my 5 PDD- NOS) better days. It went okay, but people are starting to look at us. They don't say anything..just look..like we are form an alien planet. Then you factor in the in-laws a potty accident, and vomit you have a great all around day. Just wanted to let you know I sympathize with you. Libby > You wouldn't have known if you came to my house. I had all the best intentions. Guest guest
I know what you mean. I really do. Too bad for us we can relate to each other. Vomit and potty accidents are so common here I don't even notice them as anything but " normal " around here. And I never report them unless a great story goes along with it. Only this group of parents would understand what I could possible mean by that. Jacquie H Re: Easter? It was easter? I can relate...we did'nt even have Easter baskets for them. How pathetic are we? Guest guest
Thanks. We are all good here now. Jeff came home from the funeral last night. Much to my relief. I usually enjoy the time we have apart even if I do have all the kids. But this time was just more work. Of course one great thing happened when he came home. He walked in the door and I was holding Yessenia. She saw him and squealed with delight and reached for him. She said " Dadadada! " Jacquie H Re: Easter? It was easter? (((jacquie h))) take care. Guest guest
How awesome!! There words are so precious. :^) Potty accidents are not a usual occurance, but lately if he is busy..he will " forget " to pee...and when he is angry he will start to cry, then cough, then sometimes vomit..we had all in one day. YIPPEEE!!! > Thanks. We are all good here now. Jeff came home from the funeral last night. Much to my relief. I usually enjoy the time we have apart even if I do have all the kids. Guest guest
It is , isnt it? Greggory said Mama at 11 months. Don't remember when he said Dada. Alec never has said either.
