TK--- only for clarification, this is not always or necessarily true. I have low sulfer levels [lab testing] and only tollerated 3mg ALA to start. I did have very high Hg levels - industrial exposure - off the hair chart levels. > > Dave. >
Guest guest
TK - right. I didn't say the converse. That is, since ALA increases sulfur levels, high sulfur ==> you will have trouble with high levels and/or long rounds of ALA. On the other hand, low sulfur does not necessarily mean you can use higher levels or do longer rounds, since ALA also does things other than increase sulfur. Guest guest
And, for more clarification, sulfur status does change. I was on a low sulfur diet before amalgam removal. At amalgam removal my sulfur food reactions were fairly extreme. A year after removal, without any chelation, I started to be able to tolerate sulfur foods again. This will be different for different people. > , particularly depending on your sulfur status, you > > may be able to tolerate higher levels of chelator than I have been > able to > > > (people with high sulfur can only tolerate low levels of ALA). > > TK--- only for clarification, this is not always or necessarily > true.
