My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what you

start.

So far today, I have finished 2 bags of chips and a Chocolate cake.

I feel better already.

Oh, yes please Ruthie! You've been a great help and comfort to me,

and I love to hear that you've been through it all before, whatever

happens to us all :-)

Ruthie - (Hugs) be gentle on yourself for a while it's a big transition.

The first holidays will be here before you know it and then it will be back

to excess computer and tv use in your room and all the other stuff that

makes teens hard to live with! Make sure you enjoy the peace and quiet

you've earned a rest :-)

We will see him at Sukkot (http://www.ruthiepearlman.com/sukkot.html)

time ( VERY end of September for two weeks) as we always go to our

Jerusalem home for that festival. So he really only has 25ish days

without us in the first instance, then a two week break with his

family still in Israel. But yeshivahs don't have a break in the

winter. There is no Xmas break at all. After Sukkot (mid Oct) the new

term goes on until Passover in the spring (Easter time), so he won't

actually come home till then, (when he gets a whole month off),

unless he hates the place so much that he leaves, which we sincerely

hope won't happen. Winter term *is* long for yeshivah

students...probably we'll make a trip out there to see him and break

up the time a little. Girls seminaries do have a two week winter

break, so Zehava will be home then.
