I called everybody from the sped director to the health department to the

superintendent of schools to bitch about it.

I was so pissed off when the principal said she was mislead by the health

dept. -- Then the health dept said they hadn't talked to her since Jan. It

was all a big bunch of crap designed to ruin my freaking day. Harassment --

that's all.

Anyway, it was infuriating and still pisses me off. Maybe when I get over it

a bit more I can tell you what happened.

Here's one example:

Principal: " You have to remember we're a school taking orders from a health

department on this. It's sort of like a newspaper taking orders from a

restaurant. "

This was an attempt to ridicule the newspaper where I work. We do have a

very large entertainment section. It's much larger than the daily paper --

maybe she thinks I write the gourmet column -- I don't. It was SUPPOSED to

be an insult but I'm especially proud of it since I am the editor of this

section.

So I said, " You aren't very good at this. You need to take more lessons from

Kathy Wooten. (sped director -- super bitch).

She said, " Yeah, she's pretty good isn't she? "

" She's never beaten me, " I said.
