Guest guest
Tasia, When I started I thought I would be completely better in 6 months. I been chelating for 6 months now and have improved significantly but have a long way to go. I would say I moved from functioning 20% two years ago to 60% now. Since starting chelation in November the following have gotten better: I am not cold all the time now I can think straight most days, find words and complete sentences. I look and sound normal to the world. I no longer feel like a wet noodle (when I felt like lifting my arm took so much effort) I am now able to do little things. Like walk my dog if I don't over do it. My moods are better and I feel like getting things done most days I use to be angry and have intrusive dark thoughts a lot (like kids being hit by buses, lawn mowers run over feet) rarely happens Had neuropathy daily- now just sometimes gums not inflamed anymore I am starting to want to clean and organize the house I can't drink yet and my food choices are still very limited. I am now chelating every other week since it was hard on my body and family to do it every week. i still have bad days and my littlest one still has to go to daycare, I still can't drive (vertigo) but generally I am seeing improvement and my family is seeing improvement too. Stick with it. It works. I now realize that I will be doing this for about two years, but I figure my last year will be me feeling fine but making sure I am getting it all out. Good luck. We are here for encouragement too. colette > What are some reasonable expectations for recovery? It's really hard > for me to imangine so many people doing wonderfuly! I too dropped out of college because I could not do more than just go to class and study - I marveled at the students who had jobs and a life in addition. I realized I would never make the cut in the real world. How fortunate for you both to have figured out what the issue is at a relatively young age! ~ C.
