Guest guest
Howdy Gang Phil continues to improve. His feet are still swollen but his legs and stomach look normal again. He remains on antibiotics until Monday when he will see Dr. Rothman and determine his next step in treatment. Definitely no more Erbitux!!! In fact, we may be looking at a chemo break. Appetite and everything else are pretty well normalized. Of course it is very important he rest and get his strength back which he does each afternoon after work. As far as work goes he has been working since Tuesday light duty such as phone calls and sermon writing so he will be good to go on Sundays. He can do some visitation as long as the person is not currently sick. Other pastors, our Youth Minister, Liese, and our parishioners are helping out so that all runs as smoothly as possible. What a beautiful example of what the church is and should always be about. A talk with the Bishop yesterday reassured Phil that the synod as well as the congregation are willing to help him maintain his ministry. We are so thankful for everyone's cards letters prayers and support. May God Bless you all Phil Narice Dan & Tim May
