Guest guest
Hi there, I am just dropping by to say thank you so much for your support it is so appreciated. We are doing okay....even though we really knew it was still a shock because you always hope you are going to be wrong. Now we know I guess it's just something else we have to deal with....which is better than being totally blind. Once he's had all these tests we'll know exactly where we are going with this. I so hate stepping into the unknown, there is loads of just talk at the moment, radio therapy, surgery, testosterone implants (the guy has had zero testosterone for nearly two years that we know of) he has been having weekly jabs but the tumour on his pituitary just mis- processes it, chews it up and throws it again so he is on a high one day and the lowest of the low the next. His symptoms are vast just from the absence of no testosterone and he became insulin resistant 12 moths ago which is so hard to control because all his codes for his body chemistry is wrong....isn't the human body great until it goes wrong? They have already said that too much damage has already been caused and that isn't reversible - this is because the assholes locally refused to do damn thing which is why we have had to go out of town. What we are hoping for now is a stop on this growth and symptomatic relief for him. Bless him he never complains and won't ever give up...he's astounding. Okay....I won't post anymore on this subject until we have more facts in a few weeks....but thank you so much for being there for us. I hope to be around properly again soon....I am just struggling a bit at the moment to take anything in. Thinking about you all. Guest guest
Louisa, It's ok if you post more on what is going on. We do talk about more here than just autism, this is still something affecting your family, so if you feel the need to talk about it, we're here for you. Wishing your family the best!
